residency Kultur-kontakt-kreativ in Regensburg (DE)
At my residency in Regensburg, I was inspired by the local limestone quarry. Based on its shape from the satellite map I created wall installation from glass sticks in the Künstlerhaus Andreasstadel, a house with less than twenty studios, in which local artists work, and where I also had a studio. I then transformed the image of the quarry into a broader context, and a video emerged from them, which consists of shots from the quarry, shots of the installation and poetic text. The whole video deals with different ways of thinking about the landscape. The residency ended with a screening of a video that was complemented by the objects (also from glass sticks) in the gallery.
